Call to Adventure!

This group is a 8-week virtual skill-building group for 2SLGBTQI+ identifying members who want a safe and collaborative safe to explore identify and build skills such as conflict resolution, boundary setting, confidence building, creative problem solving, and teamwork. Practicing these skills in game can be a low pressure way to facilitate the start of desired changes in your real life. Our Game Master Cheyenne Sa will be running Monster of the Week, a rules light, roleplay focused game in which you play as monster hunters in a quiet, seemingly mundane town.

What to expect?

First, email our team. We will correspond with you through email and set up a time to do a virtual interview. In this interview, we will assess your unique needs and desired outcomes for the campaign and assess if you make a good fit with the other group members. We will then send an email confirming your acceptance into the program, the dates, and times.

The time in between the confirmation and the first day of program, we will work on creating custom curated content based on the group's desired goals. The first day of program will be a session zero in which expectations, safety tools, and character creation will be completed. All necessary materials will be provided.

Following session zero, the sessions will start and end with brief check-ins that will be useful for self reflection on how the group is feeling, what they are expecting, and any challenges and triumphs within the session. During the sessions, we may pause and talk through scenarios as needed with the group.

Schedule: Every Monday from July 1st to September 2nd (8 in total)

Time: 6:30 - 8:00 PM EST

Fees: $20 per session
